Who am I?
Hi I'm Will, the creator of Cinema on the Bay.

I'm a Film Critic, writer and all around Filmmaker with a BA in Film Studies but more importantly passion for the craft and developing my own space.
What is Cinema on the Bay?
After achieving my BA in Film Studies, I realised how difficult it is to get your foot in the door in the industry. I had all the knowledge and skills I'd developed but no idea how to use them.

My dream is be a full-time writer like my idols, both writing articles and writing screenplays. Film is more than just a hobby, it's my degree, my passion and practically my life. Cinema on the Bay is an ongoing project to get my voice as a writer out on a platform I control; here you will find numerous articles, essays, videos and so on covering film and adjacent subjects that fascinate me. I have written articles you will find on far larger sites and am always pursing opportunities you will find here but Cinema on the Bay is entirely independent, entirely an experiment and entirely me. As of now none of my work here is monetised and is for non-profit purposes.
